Product Description

Here in the UK we throw away millions of plastic toothbrushes every year (65 million people + 1 brush every 3 months = lots of toothbrushes) which will take hundreds of years to breakdown.  This certainly won’t be in our lifetime nor our children’s or even the grandchildren of our grandchildren.

These toothbrushes are made from bamboo which will rot down to nothing, causing little impact to the environment plus they are BPA free.

Our new super environmental packaging is 100% recyclable.

The adult brushes are infused with either:

Bamboo fibre (medium bristle, with a feathered finish that feels softer against the gums ),

Charcoal bamboo fibre (medium bristle, with a flat finish which has a firmer feel)

or Standard Soft nylon4 bristles.

We also have childs brush with soft Bamboo Bristles

We have a new and improved brush head  which means not only are they better environmentally but they feel different too, simply nicer to use and less painful on the gums.

We get a number of questions about the bristles so it is important for us to clarify.

The Bristles on all of our brushes are made from Nylon 4 which has been infused with bamboo fibre or charcoal.

The bristles are NOT made from Bamboo. There must be no confusion about this.

These bristles are biodegradable according to a number of sources. (I put mine in the compost bin and they haven’t been seen since).

Please note that due to hygiene reasons, we are unable to accept any returns on these items.

The are the most eco-friendly toothbrushes you can buy. The bamboo bristles are perfect. The head size is small enough for young children. Vegans can be happy that hogs have not been slaughtered to make the bristles and plastic-free supporters have a choice not to buy nylon bristles. Equally important, the packaging looks eco-friendly to me too. I couldn’t be happier with this. My only fear is that not enough people will appreciate this beautiful product.

These bamboo toothbrushes are fabulous, perfect shape, and feel absolutely right for the teeth and gums, not too soft, not too hard. Each lasts about the same as plastic one, but these ones feel a lot better, as always plastic is so inferior to a natural product.

Really great toothbrush! The head is a bit smaller than most regular toothbrushes, but this actually makes it easier to clean teeth. The bamboo is great, lasts the same as a regular toothbrush. Once you start using these eco-friendly brushes you wont want to go back!

I’ve been using one of these toothbrushes for the past two years while WWOOFing around Europe. The bamboo bristles only started splaying recently, so it’s finally time for a replacement, but this durable product certainly gave me my money’s worth.

Im not long back from the ever fabulous Shambala festival where they gave you a little “how to live plastic-free” guide with your festival programme highlighting the damage that plastic is doing to our environment. So all inspired to be part of the solution not part of the pollution (!) Im trying to switch a few plastic products I use every day for more sustainable options and Ive just got three of these bamboo toothbrushes. Theyre great! The head and the bristles just right for me (I previously used a kids toothbrush as my dentist told me I brush with too much vigour so I should use a softer and smaller toothbrush). The mouthfeel of the bamboo is fine, its not horrid like those wooden forks you sometimes get (I know theyre compostable but I cant stand the feel of eating off them!) and they brush just like a plastic brush. Plus they come in cute all-wooden/paper packaging and no plastic used in the shipping packaging either. Im chuffed to bits to find a good solid alternative. Get on board! #makingwaves

Something so simple you might not even realise they existed.. I only saw eco friendly toothbrushes because a sponsored ad popped up on fb one day. I searched many different types but went for these and I’m not disappointed.

If you’re looking for a eco friendly, cruelty free toothbrush then look no further. A few questions I thought about before ordering :
1/ Are the bristles strong enough? Yes just like a regular toothbrush really
2/ Although it seems silly.. I did question splinters.. No splinters, smooth edges, perfectly safe!
3/ Is it worth the price? Yes! You’re helping the environment and keeping your teeth clean, you can’t go wrong with that! Think how many old toothbrushes we go through in a lifetime and how they’re all going to just sit in a landfill – now imagine they’re all eco friendly that will rot away over years to nothing instead..

If you ask me, these are worth every penny! (Also girls, they come in cute little packets with pandas on)

Really surprised by these toothbrushes (bamboo bristles) as I thought they would feel weird in the mouth and the bristles might fall out easily. How wrong could I be!? It feels far more natural and comfortable in the mouth than the “traditional” plastic handled toothbrush and the bristles stay put really well. I haven’t seen any shedding yet (several weeks so far). I love the new minimal plastic free packaging (same goes for the paper postal packaging used to send them to me). Can’t recommend these enough. My partner isn’t a fan of the feel of wooden sticks in ice pops so didn’t think he’s take to the bamboo but he says it is actually a nice feel. I’ve also given one to my mum who doesn’t like change and is ever skeptical but she was pleasantly surprised too.

I’m buying these for the rest of my life now. They clean my teeth better than normal toothbrushes. We all draw on the handles so that we can tell whose is whose. I’m not contributing to landfill any more! I went to my hygienist last week and showed her what I’ve been using and I asked her what she thought of the results. She agreed, there was less plaque buildup and my teeth look better now than they ever have. I don’t normally review products but I LOVE these toothbrushes, and I’m on a mission to tell and show all my friends. Try one, they’re brilliant!

These toothbrushes are a great alternative to what’s on the mainstream market at the moment.

The packaging is cute and minimal, and the toothbrushes look just like any other – except wooden. They feel nice and the bristles are silky and soft. I did, however, find that the bristles are a bit on the soft side for me, personally, but I’ll find ways to make sure I’m still brushing properly 🙂
